Besides, the industry is known for translating literary works into motion pictures.Some of the award winning films include Dweepa (2001), Thaayi Saheba (1997), Kaadu (1973), Tabarana Kathe (1986), Ghatashraddha (1977), Chomana Dudi(1970) etc.
